Electrical installation responsibility

The electrical installation responsibility is the duty of the person who manages and controls the electrical installation ultimately the managing director of the organisation which owns the electrical installation.

It is the liability of the duty holder to take necessary action to assure that the electrical installation is satisfactorily safe against damages to people and property. To fulfil the duties the managing director shall nominate a Person Responsible for an Electrical Installation (PREI).
