Work Planner

(Work planner)

The Work Planner must ensure that each work or measure can be carried out in a safe way. A prerequisite for work to be carried out in a safe and secure manner is that all actions are carefully planned in good time in all phases of the process.

The Work Planner performs a Risk Assessment & Method Statement (RAMS) which is the basis for how the work shall be carried out, what safety measures to take at the workplace. It considers the design of the installation, choice of tools, equipment, PPE, and the skill of the workers.

The person who carries out RAMS must have such knowledge that it provides reassuring safety against electrical hazard.

Work Planner’s duties:

  • perform RAMS
  • ensure that the employee has the knowledge and skills needed for the work activity
  • nominate PCWA
  • prepare and submit Work Request
