Before starting work, the PCWA shall give notification to the PCEI, of the nature, place and consequences to the electrical installation of the intended work. It is preferable that this notification is given in writing, especially for complex work.
In These Safety Rules this notification is called a Work Request which describes the intended work.
The purpose is to provide the PCEI with sufficient information to evaluate the impact on the installation and what safety measures are needed.
A Work Request is submitted by the Work Planner to the PCEI, well in time before the planned work activity.
If any changes affecting the planned work arise, a new written Work Request shall be issued by the Work Planner to the PCEI.

RAMS shall be appended to the Work Request.
